This piece is a totally original oak water container, steel bound with wooden stoppers and a hemp rope carrier. Would make a terrific addition to your kitchen decor or dressed with some old leather pieces such as belts, horsecollars or spurs.
We also have the larger version available in a more oval shape. these were originally used to carry water on pack mules in the old west.
